I have a question about the cluster connector. As per the schematic that boundstaffpress printed, I find that I have wiring in different slots of the connector. Being that my truck had a "2 year old" wire it, I ripped everything out and now I'm cleaning up the connectors. I find that I have 2 tan wires on the same lug in one slot. I also have a black wire with white stripe in it. OK, I already have the black wire (without white stripe) in its proper slot. I have no dark blue wire either (only one of them). WHAT'S THE DEALY?

Thanks bud! OK, some of the wire positions I have noticed where in the "67-72 Chevrolet truck Instrument cluster connector with gauges" schematic. But still doesn't mention anything about the double brown wire lug. This may be a dumb question, but what are the idiot lights on the gauge cluster? Versus the Instrument cluster with gauges?

The idiot light dash only has the 3 holes in the bezel where the full gauge bezel has 7 holes in it. The idiot type lights up "Generator" in the center if there is a charging problem.
