Any suggestions? I think i killed the ones I have. A sub would be nice but I don't wanna spend am arm and leg on them. :confused:

Tell me something - are you looking for:

- just a left and right speaker to hear sounds?
- a left and right speaker with a powered subwoofer?
- full surround sound?

also, what is your budget? diff't people have diff't ideas of what is "arm and a leg".

I have a set of Logitech Z-340's that I love. I think you can get them for around 50 bucks, and they sound great for what they are. They're 2 speakers and a sub.

I *do* suggest buying online and I do suggest buying from NewEgg. You will not be disappointed with their service and you will never find something that cheap in town (most likely). Shipping is a flat rate, prices are marked down about 25% of what the local store sells at.

I know it's out of your budget but Logitech's z-5500 surround sound system is amazing. I bought my set on mwave.com for $200.

I would recommend anything from Logitech though.

i got a home theater system from walmart for 40 buxs built in sub with surround sounds had to buy a y cable that goes from the sound card to audio cables i got my tv and radio hooked into it so it sounds pretty good i got this after i burned up my logitech sub and 2 speakers
