Hey guys,
I was going to mention this in another running thread but I did not want to hi-jack his thread. I have already notched my crossmember and now that everything is sitting in place I am just not happy with the stance :( I made the mistake of thinking I could get low enough with just the crossmember, but I am just not low enough. Anyways sinse I did decide to go with the notch over the drop I am going to Use another crossmember I have and then just Z the frame. My question is I hear a lot of people talking about 2" Z's What I am wondering is if I I decided to go with a 2.5 or 3 inch Z. How much more problems am I going to run into? I know my HEI is going to be an issue but I will move it forward and I will be good to go. Also does anyone know how much I can Z the frame with out have to re-do the tunnel in the cab?
I am getting ready to buy a new house and I know the truck is going to take the back burner for awhile so I want to get it rolling before I move so I can move it easily, so I am going finish up the front and back half. So any help will be greatly appriciated!
Thanks
Keith
