I don`t know about rare.Indiana`s probably like here in Maryland, don`t see many pre-81s on the road.Alot were repainted and emblems discarded.Around here,it`s rare to see original body side mouldings on a GM brfore the 80s-style moulding.

The "Trailering Special" packages usually included all the heaviest duty stuff you could get on a vehicle from GM back then and even to this day. This Burb probably has the big 1 1/4' front sway bar as well as a factory rear swaybar, the biggest brakes and a heavy duty rearend with real tall gears. It will have in the least a transmission cooler and maybe an engine oil cooler too. I wish I lived close to you cause I'd love to see what I could scavenge off that Burb for my daily driver Burb.
I got a front 1 1/4" sway bar for my 72 pickup from a 79 trailering special pickup and when I went back to the scrapyard a month later to get the rear swaybar, they had crushed the rest of the truck so I missed out.

I am surprised that this Burb has the 5 boilt 15" wheels. I'd like to see the data plate to verify that it does have the 10,000 GCW package.. "GCW" means "Gross Combined Weight" and that would be the Burb and whatever you were towing should not exced 10,000lbs.

The Trailering Special option was available on all models, including Blazers.
