I imagine it was cancelled by eBay as it was a scam.

An early 50's Chev pickup that was very custom and very nice looking. The auction listed a buy it now price of $6,500, BUT you had to email the seller to get permission to bid, AND the seller said that you could not contact them through Ebay.

I am not sure what they are trying to get form this scam, maybe your email address?

My Dad sent me one of those ebay emails forwarding a listing for you to look at. I was of a nice 70 chevelle for like 3500 u.s. Same deal ebay email not working and i think only a buy it now price. I looked a couple days later and it was removed. I heard that this is the new scam, someone will steal ur ad on ebay, use ur same pics and everything to mimic ur add. All with the hopes you bite at the buy it now price and dump money into their paypal account and they are long gone with ur money and u have no car! Watch out!
