Already Gone

I am finally getting my 89 Black 4x4 Burb now that the title stuff has been worked out so I can bring it into Canada. The trans is pooched in her. I bought a wrecked 90 Burb 4x2 that had the trans done about 10k ago and this is for sure that is why I bought the wreck. Will the trans from the 90 4x2 bolt right in to the 89 4x4 or are there some things that have to be changed/adjusted etc.

I don't belive the 4x2 trans will just bolt right in. But I could be wrong. I know the tailshafts are proably different for the transmissions. One with transfer case and one with out. But I could be wrong though. Maybe some others will jump in here with an exact answer.

same thing here... there's got to be a difference at least with the tailshaft for the transfer case to fit. sorry i don't know exactly.

you will have to take them apart and switch the tail shafts

Not to thread jack this, but sort of on topic, is a NV4500 swap -- anyone done it?

About how much would it cost??????And It has a 350 in it, is it a 1500 or a 2500.???
