Well, my truck is now officially flamed!! I'm going to take some pics today *Friday* and drop them off to get developed. This is by far the hardest painting project I've ever done. I got up on Thursday morning at 5:30a to get to working on my truck. I made a makeshift paint booth outside from this big shade structure thing we had, lined all the sides with plastic, and it encased the front end of my truck perfectly. You'll see from my pics, but the design I came up with is pretty intricate. It's a mix of traditional with tribal. I drew up a pattern a couple nights before hoping to make my day go faster. What a mess that is using the chalk to transfer the pattern!! It took me 10 hours to get to the point of actually being able to spray my base colors. If you do the math you can tell I'm starting to run out of daylight. Anyway, I load up my detail gun with my first color, start spraying. Finish that then on to color #2, then #3. Finally, at about 8 or 8:30 I'm ready for the clear. Considering I was spraying at night with just a single halogen shop light, it came out pretty good. The reducer I bought was 85 degree because I was figuring I'd be shooting during the heat of the day. Combine that with my POOR lighting and I got a few runs, but nothing I can't sand and fix. I'll post pics ASAP
