You are infected with something. I need to figure out what it is. I believe this is causing the problem we discussed in chat. I will get back to you as soon as I have time to parse this logfile.

I hope you take this a little more seriously after I tell you what's going on, I can't help but think you took it jokingly when we were in chat. :( This is pretty serious!

So, your eBay login information has been stolen because something on your computer has let the HOSTS file be hijacked - this started when you downloaded a file that had a trojan called a "downloader" installed with it. This often occurs from using pirated software, downloading free software on the web, surfing porn websites, surfing pirated software/hacking websites, etc. If you have not been doing this kind of surfing and you have kids, I think it is imperative you start monitoring what they are doing online and let them know that someone installed something that infected your computer and it resulted in your ebay login credentials being stolen.

As you see, your antivirus was unable to detect or even fix this (it's a trojan or spyware that started this mess).

Once we get this fixed, you need to report your account hijack to eBay support IMMEDIATELY and change your password, then verify all of the contact information in your eBay account is valid. DO NOT change your passwords until we have this cleaned up. I will work with you to get it clean ASAP.

I will give you a short set of steps and I hope you will perform them IMMEDIATELY to resolve this issue. I want to make sure you are clean once this is over with and help you to reverse any damage done to you. Sadly, I am sure there are other people here at the forum that are hijacked like you and have no idea...

First, download these pieces of software things:

Ewido Security suite: http://download.ewido.net/ewido-setup.exe
NAIL/Aurora uninstaller: http://uninstall.bestoffersnetworks.com/TBONUninst.exe

Next, if you dont know how to reboot your computer in safe mode, go to this website, choose your version of Windows and print out the details on how to do so: http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2001052409420406?OpenDocument&src=sec_doc_nam

Next, print out this entire thread because we're about to disconnect your computer from the internet and close all open programs, especially your web browser.

Here's how we're going to patch you up most of the way:

1) Close any open programs. Run Hijackthis and click "SCAN ONLY". A list will print out - go through the list and find each of these items, then put a checkmark next to each one you see:

2) Verify the list above - make sure all things are checkmarked! Don't miss any! Once all are checked, click FIX button in Hijackthis.

3) Close Hijackthis. Install Ewido (you downloaded earlier). Update the program using its update feature but DO NOT SCAN YET, then close it.

4) Run the NAIL/Aurora uninstaller we downloaded earlier (file name: TBONUninst.exe).

5) Disconnect your computer from the internet. Reboot in safe mode. Run Ewido security suite (you installed it earlier). Do a *complete* scan of your computer.

6) If you are running Windows XP, Disable and then re-enable System Restore. This will flush out any bad nasty files that Windows is keeping so you don't re-infect yourself later. If you don't know how to do this, Open the Control Panel, double-click the System icon (if it's there) and click the "System Restore" tab. Put a chekcmark in the "Turn off system restore" box, click APPLY and "OK" to any popups you see, then uncheck the box and click OK again.

7) Reboot into normal mode. Run Hijackthis again, "scan and save logfile". Post me the new logfile, I need to review it and see what is beign stubborn and sticking around.
