Pressing this special xtra button on either side goes "back" or "forward" in your browser. It's a fast way to page flip. I use one at work and man, when I come home, I get so frustrated not having it. It also works for page flipping in some document editing/reading programs like Acrobat and Word I think. It goes forward and backward too when you're flipping through folders on your computer. If you're into gaming, I can give other suggestions. This is a really inexpensive mouse for what you get - just be careful, I think there are a few different kinds of the Intellimouse or whatever. You might consider buying from Newegg if you can't find it locally for less than $25: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16826105122 Honestly - stop by your local Best Buy or CompUSA if you have them. They normally have setups there so you can test all the mice, but ... overall, this is an incredible product. smokekiki 02-03-2006, 05:03 PM Thanks!!!No I don't do hardly any gaming.Bestbuy and Comp are right across from each other in Wilmington,De.I will be less than a mile from them tonight. No taxes on purchases in De. mister honey 02-03-2006, 05:04 PM I recently purchased the Logitech MX 1000 cordless laser mouse (also from newegg.com.) I like it a lot for general computer and CAD use.
