I was just pricing Hub/rotor assemblies for my '93. I didn't remember them being $50 a side. Does anybody have a good source for them besides the big parts stores? The cheapest I've found there for OEM replacements is $39.99 from O'Reilly. I'm not a big fan of turning them when they are warped as badly as mine seem to be.

Do yourself a favor and pitch the solid discs....I went through so many warped sets of rotors and finally bought slotted and drilled discs from JS whitney. They have been on a year with zero pulsation...I also went with ceramic pads. The discs cost me $68.00 each...Well worth it believe me!!

Yeah, the thing is, I'm just trying to get the brakes to stop smoothly so I get more when I sell the thing. I'm not looking to put a bunch of money in the truck that I won't be able to recover.

Try to find some used ones. You could try Nordstroms up here in Sioux Falls, they get a ton of newer vehicles in. I am sure you have some decent yards around you too.

Lexington is great. I'm back here after living up in the great white north for a while, right Shawn? My mother actually just quit UK to go drive a truck with Dad. What dept. is your mom in? I'm gonna be up on 460 out by where Iron Works Pike dead ends into it on Saturday. A buddy has a shop I'm gonna do a tune-up in.
