My SES light came on last Sunday and have not had time to get it read then yesterday my truck does not start. It will not turn over and it is a new battery and new alternator within the last year and a half. When I turn the key with the lights on they do not dim so I assume the battery is fine. My guage says over 14 volts so i assume again that the power is there. I am thinking the starter so I pulled to test. Does anybody have any test info on the starter like how to test with a volt meter or ohm meter? :confused:

If you've already got it off, then just run down to AutoZone and have them test it. They'll tell you exactly what it's doing.
