what color is the wire that goes to the choke on an 82, and what works good to clean wires

Cant help out with the wire color of the choke, but WD40 works pretty good to clean wires.

My Haynes manual shows lite blue and I have used wd-40 also and any good hand cleaner as well as vaseline. It sounds funny but vaseline will also clean up vinyl and leather and leave it soft and dry. It's kinda messy until you get it wiped off but it works.
