I stripped out 2 of the threaded holes on the doors where the hinges bolt up. Any fix for this, or should I just go commit suicide and be done with it? Do not want to take those doors off again. The hinge bolt locations behing the fenders must have been a Ford idea. Yuk!
Thanks

Those are fine thread holes. Are they REALLY stripped? I mean lots of play when trying to insert bolts? You might want to try retapping with the original size, holes could have gotten cross-threaded and could be corrected. Another option is to find slightly larger bolts and try to re-align threads with those. If they don't want to go in then you could try tapping with the next size up. If one hole is at the top and one at the bottom you might get away without using them at all.

Good news. The holes are okay. The fine thread bolts were stripped just enough so they wouldn't tighten. Learned to not use an air rachet for the final tightening.
Also learned that you do have to cut off the replacement hinge pins. The hinges fit into a slightly recessed area on the door. The long pins hang down below that and won't let the plate sit flush with the door. Found that out after working a couple of hours trying to line up the damn thing.
