So i'm getting my truck painted this summer, and i'm going with a deep green color, a little darker than the "dark metallic green" on the new chevy trucks. who makes paint? dupont? i'm a complete ignoramous when it comes to painting... where would i go to pick out the paint i wanna get for my painter or for him to buy? i don't want something uber expensive or off-the-wall name-brand. just kinda curious where i should be looking. anyone got any examples of dark green that you like?

just go thru the new car dealership lots till you find a color you like write down make model and year off the sticker as well as the color name or code // i find that nissan toyota as well as the german cars have some awesome colors// also look at your color in bright sunlight and on an overcast day also at night so you can see it in all conditions b-4 making the final choice
it's alot better to pick a color off of a real vehicle than the cheesey 1"square patches of the color charts at the auto paint supplier

Do what was mentioned above and go to the dealership to find a color. That way any fixes are easier at a leter date. I really like the green on '05 Chevy pickups that looks almost black until the sunlight hits it.

That's what I'm looking for, its black but green.
I'll be sure I swing by the dealership before I get it painted. Good idea, thankx!
