I bought an all eletrical auto meter gauge set for my truck. All the gauges work except for:

oil gauge:
when the truck is running, it reads all the way past 100 and goes back to 0 at shut off. Every once in a while, it will jump around like crazy, then go back to 100 or 0. I have the gauge grounded with the rest of the gauges in a circuit like setup. any suggestions?

gas gauge:
this just satys on 0. I dont know which wires are to be hooked up to which on the sending unit. any help would be awesome.

make sure that your sending unit for the gas tank if grounded

Alright, its been awhile but I finally got around to my sending unit. I troubleshot and troubleshot this thing for a few hours. What I got around to was when it it hooked up to read, the fuel gauge reads 1/2 tank when full, then as the truck burns gas the fuel gauge goes towards "full" instead of empty. The single prong that sticks out of the sending unit is hooked up to the back of the gauge properly, and the groung i connected to one of the bolts that bolts the tank into the cab. I know the cab is grounded because everything else works for me fine. Any suggestions would be awesome, thanks guys.
