Anyone object to this? I can swing Papago Park for anyone who is not firmilar with that area, the Phoenix Zoo is across the street. Wayne, if you want we can scout it out to make sure they have grills and lots of parking.

i'll be going to az. for a family reunion in june.the reunion is in williams on the south rim, but if there was a board meet around flagstaff i would like togo if the timing is rite.i wish the reunion was in mesa, thats where i was born.i use to live in mesa,apache junction,and queen creek....:fb:

Lilred67 June is far enough out that we can work something out I am sure. My family spends time in Fagstaff every year. I would be willing to spend a hot June day up North, we should start a seperate thread for that when it gets a little closer.

well have to see if the truck will be there this time. if i get things together soo enough i will have all new front metal and new tires. if i dont get the tires i doubt ill be driving the truck that far. i will prob. bring her car (if she comes) or the bike.

I am really sorry folks, I messed up my dates. I can't do the 22nd because I am working. I can't do the next weekend because I am out of town. You guys can keep this date if it works for you or we can pospone until Saturday May 13th. Please let me know if this will work for you. Again I am sorry!

Hey Lance May 2nd is my Birthday.

As a side note I don't think Jebb is going to make it. I was offered a very fair amount of money from a family freind for him and I think I am going to take it. I did just buy a 59 GMC 1 ton Duelly for parts on my project 59 so I will likely take that down there:lol:.

I should have my truck there and hope to see you all there. I will have the engine back in by then but **** I never know what I will take apart next weekend lol.

looks like we will both be there this time. hope to have the truck cab in primer by then (got my new cowl hood/grille/bumper yesteday for a really good price $$$$$$$$$$) and new tires hopefully. either way we/i will be there. just make sure i get a good map of where to be and im there.

Hey all, I was off today so I finally went and scouted the location. This is a great place for out little shindig! They have a great deal of parking and little ramadas you can rent out. I have not yet looked into pricing but I will soon. If it is cheap hopefully someone can thow down for the ramada instead of bringing food. I took some pictures so you guys could check it out. Directions are easy you go just as if you are going to the Phoenix Zoo but you take a left rather just before entering the Zoo parking lot. Can we start getting a list of who is bringing what? It's coming up soon. I am in charge of grilling supplies and the main course. Still need drinks, salads, plates, napkins and such.

Guys, I responded once to the AZ thread, but I live way up North. I'll be flying into Phoenix the 12th from a business trip in Denver, but I cannot stay untill the 13th. I am very interested in the Flag date in June if it materializes? LMK, I may not be driving anything but a new vehicle as my 68 burb got destroyed (see: look familiar thread in the burb area) and my K5 has been neglected. Please PM me for the Flag deal, I'd like to meet some fellow truckers from AZ PS I live in the center of the Hopi rez (which is the center of the Navajo rez) in North East corner of the state.

Actually I spoke to Lilred67 more in debth about that his dates he will be in Flagstaff from the 23-25. I wanted to start a seperate thread for that one when it got a little closer but you are more than welcome to start it now. I will be glad to talk it over with these guys when we have this meet and see what interest is like. On another note I did see your tragic thread about your burb. I am really sorry about that, I love those things! At least everyone walked away.
