View Full Version : Blazer vs Another make and model
ian villeza 03-03-2006, 12:28 AM If money was no object would you still be driving your 69-72 Blazer?
What other classic or modern car would get you to ditch your Blazer?
:drama:
teamradrz1 03-03-2006, 01:23 AM good question, 1st off I think your post should have some reasonable limit like say 50K, cause no limit everyone would say some $200K car.
My Blazer is special to me but I've always wanted a 69 RS/SS Camaro convertable, hugger orange with white racing stripes, yup I think that would do it.
Just like this one except a convert.:metal:
Medicanman71 03-03-2006, 02:07 AM A nicer blazer
Tynee 03-03-2006, 02:29 AM MOney is the object that keep sme from HAVING a blazer
TexasWreck 03-03-2006, 02:49 AM 1972 Corvette Convertible. I plan to have both though. Mike
13lazer 03-03-2006, 04:17 AM if money were no object i'd have to say helicopter. i would set my blazer on fire for a helicopter.
J-Rod 03-03-2006, 05:42 AM It would be hard as heck to pick just one. If money were no object I'd have a warehouse full of sweet rides. Here are a few of my favorites though.
blazerboy72 03-03-2006, 06:25 AM You could have my blazer for a C6 ZO6, I might would even give you my 2wd and 4wd if it was blue or black.
vtblazer 03-03-2006, 08:04 AM Are you talkin' daily driver or garage queen? Huge difference.
Hands down fun to drive "want it' car...1970 'Cuda - 440 6pak/4spd car!
Daily driver,... just give me an old chevy truck please!
Money's no object? Then give me a nicer old chevy truck to drive.
JMO but this is SUCH an unfair question/comparison...:barn:
shelby987 03-03-2006, 08:47 AM I must agree....money is the object keeping me from having a blazer....and the warehouse would be full......I would have to say it would come down to a 1964 Pontiac GTO running a 389 and a TPI setup, a 1963 Split window vette running a crazy FI 327, or a 69 camaro with a built 302 (yes, chevy made a 302) and a T56 behind it all!
But if money were no object.....I would just buy the three cars above, a blazer, my truck.......and maybe two other vehicles so I could drive a different one every day!
smokekiki 03-03-2006, 08:49 AM A 1971 HemiCuda, convertible. There was one at the Atlantic City car auction last weekend. It had a 250k reserve on it.It was a clone.
In reality,i am looking for a 1970 chevelle convertible for my wife. But not an SS.Don't want to pay that price,or customize a real SS.
SLIMJIM 03-03-2006, 08:59 AM The only thing I would give up my 2 wheel drive Blazer for would be a 2wd Jimmy.....:)

Jason915 03-03-2006, 09:18 AM For a daily driver for me a truck/SUV can't be beet, but I would love a nice weekend only driver, like a Mach1, or a Buick GSX, 68 GT 390 Mustang, Shelby Cobra, 96-97 LT4 SS Camaro, 02 Z06.......I could go on all day lol
71blksuper4x4 03-03-2006, 12:27 PM I'd trade my 71 Super 4x4 for an Ls6 chevelle, then I'd have matching 'velles. Sweet
bouncytruck 03-03-2006, 12:50 PM '70 Hemi Challenger R/T convertable - Auto, Plum Crazy with white top & white interior!

70rs/ss 03-03-2006, 01:19 PM I have the Black Camaro as pictured above (just not as nice) It is the 70 RS/SS in my sig. I have to have an 06 Z06, that is just BAD!! I have owned A LOT of Cars over the years, but money is what kept me from keeping/finishing them. I had a 56 2dr wagon, a 70 Super Bee, 69 Chevelle (built 454/4-speed), 72 BBC Monte (all Original) etc, etc. I made money on all of them over what I paid, but I wish I still had them all!! I invisioned the (original paint (copper) bucket, console, 4-speed w/pistol grip, 383) Bee with a crate Hemi, no not the new junk, and BIG hemi! Paid $600 for it and sold it for $3500 two weeks later after doing nothing to it. I needed the cash and I bought a K5, anyways. I like the trucks I have, but I'd like to have the finished versions without the cost of doing them?! Is that allowed in this dream game? I am now on the look out for a 67 Chevelle to build in my brother's memory, I'd actually put the 67 'Velle before the Z06 because my brother is missed dearly.
makovai 03-03-2006, 02:48 PM Money is an object, but i still own this money pit.

boundstaffpress 03-03-2006, 04:24 PM If money was no object, I'd have a General Lee replica. I'd even install the horn.
I'd buy another station wagon. I like 66-67 Novas or Chevelles. I've already had a 1971 Chevelle with cowl induction. It is sure hard to haul anything but a$$. So far I don't have a big enough a$$ to devote an entire vehicle to hauling it, and have few places that I need to go with smok'n tires.
pound41 03-03-2006, 05:26 PM 69 Double COPO Camaro All aluminum 427 w/Turbo 400
71RestoRod 03-03-2006, 05:46 PM Without going into great detail.. something that would "fit in" with this crowd...
k5keith 03-03-2006, 06:04 PM money is always a object. but im not sure what it looks like.the truth is a blazer is like a enduro motorcycle.it will go anywhere anytime and you dont have to think about it. let the hotties in the short skirts drive the low sports cars i'll be up here looking down from my blazer!:metal:
jbon64 03-03-2006, 06:41 PM 32 ford roadster.
LUV2XCLR8 03-03-2006, 06:58 PM Are you talkin' daily driver or garage queen? Huge difference.
I have both :D
Alot of things said I would like to have, but ............ if money were no
object and it had to be a classic, I'd keep both my Blazers and go nuts
on upgrades, paint, just about anything else any of us might think of, I
also need to mention my other fettish, this will get some smack stirred
up, 1996 Porsche 993 TT W/ Tiptronic, Awd, in the Dark Cherry Color
ian villeza 03-03-2006, 07:56 PM We all seem to have the same taste in auto's... American Muscle!
I have always wanted a 57 corvette, completely stock
with red interior and a white and red exterior.
76 Bronco
57 Bel air Vert
66-67 Nova
65-69 chevelle
Barndoor 23 window Samba
Pressed bumper Double cab VW truck
2wdBlazer 03-03-2006, 07:58 PM If money was no object, I'd have a General Lee replica. I'd even install the horn.

71jimmy 03-04-2006, 02:39 AM I have both :D
1996 Porsche 993 TT W/ Tiptronic, Awd, in the Dark Cherry Color
For Gods sake LUV are you NUTS. A PORSCHE and an automatic just don't go together. Say it ain't so!! :whine:
LUV2XCLR8 03-04-2006, 07:34 AM For Gods sake LUV are you NUTS. A PORSCHE and an automatic just don't go together. Say it ain't so!! :whine:
The Tiptronic is a Auto w/ F1 style paddle shifters on the steering
wheel, it like a manual w/ no clutch, I drove one in 2002, bad ass,
at that time the manuals were not holding up w/ the AWD set-up
vtblazer 03-04-2006, 08:36 AM I have both :D
Yeah, me too but who's counting?
Got my restored 71 and the play blazer, who could need more?
special-K 03-04-2006, 09:29 AM Money no object? Then I wouldn`t have to choose.I`d definately want at least two 69/72 Blazers because there is nothing like them(yes, like Kurt). Then, every configuration of 67/72 GM offered, one of each body-style from day one,at least a couple El Caminos,an old iron hot rod coupe, and if there was any money left,a`57 Vette.Other brand?I don`t think so.Did I mention a`58 Sedan Delivery or`55 Nomad?
We`re not talking motorcycles or boats, correct?
FRENCHBLUE72 03-04-2006, 10:20 AM 1972 corvette or just give me the check and I could put it into my 2 money pits I have now...
