Zumo 03-04-2006, 09:52 PM Here is what I started with: tom71 03-04-2006, 10:48 PM im gonna tyry building one of these , but it is a back burner project i do already have both cabs , 3 doors and c-4 front and rear suspension for it, im just trying to finish my 71 swb fleet , is there any one on here that has done this yet any pics? and would you leave the rear of the doors slanted forward or straighten them out (make them vertical)? milehightoyz 03-04-2006, 11:02 PM tahts badass, do you do all that on photoshop? whats a good resource for someone looking to learn more about using photoshop to create renderings like that? that looks awesome! Rokcrln 03-05-2006, 01:50 PM Just somthing to keep in mind, the body shape of the door changes quite a bit from front to back so their will be alot of work on the doors for the line to be even close. Secont thing is unless you are going to do the two rear doors suicide your "B" post will need to be straite up. If the front of the second door is angled forward like in the pic it will not open. That leading edge will bind up on the body before the door starts to open. I am not saying it can not be done because it is very do-able their are just alot of small things to take into account. That being said I think it would be a bad ass project. Kevin Zumo 03-06-2006, 02:50 PM Suiciding the rear door would be best. |
