Here is my 2000 GMC. There have been a couple of changes since I took these, but these are the best pics I have.

Carbon fiber tails have been replaced with 2003 Chevy Silverado tails
Z71 decals are gone, replaced with 2005 Chevy Colorado Z71 emblems on the fenders
Front GMC emblem is painted Gray to match the truck.
I went back to chrome mirror covers
I sanded and painted the tailgate handle bezel to match as well

I can't wait until the weather warms up so I can detail the truck again and get some updated pics :lol:

Just got this. 2003 Silverado Z71 LT. Starting to work on details to make it stand out. Will post updates later. These are the only pics I have now.

2000 Z71, 5.3L. 92K on clock. Best overall truck I've ever owned (and I've owned 3 toyota trucks before :haha: )

I've added a couple things: flares, brush guard. When it's paid for, which won't be too far off, it will be getting duals, bed rail caps and a bed liner coating.

The brush guard pics won't load??? so here's one from early this summer. (it was double parked so I could clean the interior, I moved it into once space when I was done :))

I get to play now. Here is my 06 Silverado Crewcab. The first pic is what it looked like when I brought it home. The second pic is after a day of detailing, adding a Snuglid, 2" shackle, and GM chrome wheels.

Ill get a few new pics when my wheels come in. 2005 Truck actually looks alot diffrent than the pics though. Just like Ken I put shackles on the rear. Windows are tinted, DEBADGED (KEN), machined buffed and waxed which made a big diff. I think its smoother than it came new. Added a bed cover. Good pics should be in next week.

they are made by Divine wheels they are 22/9.5 and have 265/35/22 tires

I have actually heard that from a few folks....I am not sure what the deal was with the 25 or so I have ridden in or that were owned by my friends. Here in the South East we may just be getting all the junk!?!?!?! I am not sure. I thought it might be gearing....wasnt that...thought it might be tire size...wasnt that. Every 5.3 I have come in contact with in any trans/rear combination got worse gas mileage than any stock 5.7 and none could pulll a trailer on the highway without an overdrive issue. Now most of the people I know that own them are pleased as a commuter vehicle but none have much good to say when hooking a trailer to it and I shouldnt have to buy a 6.0 to haul with and get 10MPG. Like i said.....why have two engines when the 5.7 did the job of both????? I guess its like, why offer a 283, 307 and a 350 all at the same time?

My buddy has a 5.7 '99 model and mine will haul his bass boat just as good. Overdrive issues are taken care of by the tow-haul mode. Mine for now is stock and has plenty of power to lay out some nice long S marks down the highway.

Nope........cant complain about 16 or 17MPG....... We wont see that out of a 6.0 though.

I just picked up a 2006 GMC. I've never had a newer vehicle before and I stepped up from a 260k mile S10 so I love it. Pulled my Camaro around just fine, same with my boat and it's only a 4.8 with the crappy 3.23 gears.

Anyone with a NBS Chevy/GMC I highly reccomend a custom tuned pcm....with my crappy 99' computer i was at 12 mpg city 13.5city/highway. After upgrading to a 2001 computer and having it tuned for performance/economy I now average 14 in town and 15-17 highway, plus the performance increase is about .4 in the quarter mile.
