hi,
I just ran up on this site a couple weeks ago. I have been viewing pretty much everyday since. I have seen some sweet rides on here, lots of ideals!.
Anyway, I ran upon a good deal on a SWB 1972 cheyenne and bought it with intentions to resale and basically can't hardly part with it now. I have used my old 3/4 72 for the past4 years pulling race car trailers and junk iron loads.
The 72 3/4 is a 350 with 4 speed with the granny gear. plus it seems to be a low geared rear. It is blue with a blue interior. However, the SWB i just bought Set in a barn for the past 5 years with a black top floor. It seems to be a real sweet ride. I changed the points, cleaned the carb, changed the gas and put a new set of tires on it checked the brakes,(a return hole in the master cylider was blocked so cleaning that released the line pressure) Easily enough i haven't had my first problem yet.
***edited by moderator*** It is a two toned factory yellow and white with an ordered blue interior it is a cheyenne with a 307 2 barrell and a 3 speed manual column shift. The guy i bought this from told me he had the paperwork where it was ordered with the odd setup. It seems to be solid and straight. Power steering. Is has great condition dual exhaust with glass packs, sliding rear window. Everything works from the speedometer to the cargo light , It has rallye wheels.245/70/15 tires. Anyway, it is great to be a part of a site like this, Thanks all
Bo

Welcome from Lexington. Are you out around Owensboro? I saw a SWB Cheyenne in the paper out there a couple weeks ago. Good price on it if I remember correctly.

hi,
I'm about 60 miles east of Lexington in Campton.
the truck was never advertised. A local guy who has a bunch of neat cars had this truck in one of his barns and no one figured he would ever part with it.

I will add a picture to this and i hope the real owner of the pictured truck doesn't mind but it is the closest one that i have found.
My truck looks the same except the paint is nicer in the pictured one and mine is stock height.

hey man I am in Owensboro I think I know the truck your talking about, is it black? If so it is a sweet truck but it is a little expensive price wise.

Welcome from west Tennessee, Good to hear we've got another drag race fan on board. If we get enough of us we might have to have a board meeting at a track some time. Sounds like you found a jewel of a truck

Doesn't sound like it. I don't know anything about it other than it was in the paper for $1500.
