Hey Guys & Gals,
I know I posted this along time ago but now the time is getting near.
I am looking at moving to New Mexico. I am looking at the Santa Fe Albuqurque Espanola area, any members there I would be interested in your input. I grew up in and around Santa Fe but other than visits I havent been back in over 20 years so alot has changed. I was looking at maybe the edgwood area, seems to be an up and comming area within commuting distance to alb.
Any other input would be great I would like to stay in the mountain areas.

I live in edgewood and enjoy it, the main place i would avoid living in nm is bernillo (sp?) county because it is the only place in the state that requires emission tests.

though i have never lived there i have heard bad things about espanola..visited Santa fe quite a few times.. fairly nice place.. still not where i would want to live.. but if its home to you, then you will have other feelings for it of course..
I grew up in south eastern NM, around Hobbs so i cant say much either.. though Hobbs is growing like crazy now.. damn near been a ghost town for the past 25yrs.. they are moving up in the world now.. haha..
I do have family in Santa fe as well as Farmington.. so i pass through there quite a bit on my way to my parents in CO...

I live in Bosque Farms which is commuting distance to Albuquerque (11 miles south.) Been here 26 years and love it. Great rural community with good government and services.
Santa Fe is really overpriced. My daughter works there but lives in Glorietta.
I have a house for sale in Bosque Farms across the street from my residence. We already have 3 Chevy pickup familys on our deadend street.

I live in northern new mexico..between espanola and santa fe. Santa Fe is nice but overpriced. Espanola isnt all that bad, depending on the location. Its probably the least expensive in the are. Everything in the are is beautiful IMHO. Good luck!
