Here is a pic of my next project. Its a 76 chevy short bed with a 454 crate motor and 4 speed manual trans. Currently the truck is my father however he plans on pulling the 454 for his project car and selling me the truck minus motor. Plans are to just drop a 350 in that I have in my garage and drive it as I repair the rockers, bed, etc. Let me know what you think, suggestions, etc.

I had a slight run in with a telephone pole. Knocked the front frame out about 10"...have new frame and original 327/pg/rear....putting the car back to original...been in the family since about 76'. In the background you can see my daily driver 99' Silverado Z-71 5.3 3.73 posi CAI and exhaust.

Welcome from West Tennessee. Looks like you have plenty to do for a week or two. Good that you are going to save that 67 chevelle. I don't know what your plans for the 76 are but if it is going to be more of a toy than a daily driver I would look into trading that 350 for another big block. With gas prices what they are you can trade and get a heck of a deal if you're patient. The small block is fine but since it is already set up for a big one just drop it in and go. I wish I had the problems that you've got. Later

Now I am buying the complete truck with motor and trans. Plans are to drive it maybe 1-2 days a weeks for fun and fix it up on the weekends. First I need to go over the entire trucks, breaks, steering, suspension, etc and make sure everything is safe, then ill get some antique tags and just cruise it.
