It started out as a stock longbed AMT kit. After it sitting on my desk for a few months I got the crazy idea to do a Longhorn. I used a spare bed and frame to stretch it 1/2 of an inch which is right at 6 inches in 1/25th scale... Chuck 72 CustomCamper 03-18-2006, 10:58 PM Guys, where are you finding these models? The only way you can find a 67-68 or a step side is on Ebay. AMT has a 72 long fleet out right now and in another month or two they will be offering a 72 Blazer... I believe it came off of a chavelle drag car os something. I am also in the market for a blazer and 68 truck. I would also like to find an early 70s model truck. The copper model was the blue and white amt model but I made it a short bed. The cab and bed was from an AMT 72 chevy, the frame was made from 3 AMT 55 chevy trucks and the wheels,engine,t-case and axels are from an AMT 83 GMC...
