I have decided to put the bench seat back in my Suburban and I want to upholster it with the vinyl/houndstooth insert upholstery kit. Looks like board member GMCPauls is about the best price I have found yet. $269. Any one have any other pricing/availability info that may be better?

I also need the carpet kit...looks like about $315 is the best I have found.

I bought one from Athey's. I can't remember for sure, but I think it was about $225.

Yep he has them for $225 but they are for trucks.....the ones for the Suburbans and Blazers (they have a back)are $265 and they are not in stock.

Thanks for the information....I had not heard of them...seem to be pretty good prices!!!

I ended up ordering from Atheys. They were the best price of all I called.
$269.00 2 week delivery time. I was wanting to send some business to
GMCPauls, fellow board member, but they must be having phone troubles this week. I tried for 4 days to get through and it just rang busy. No response to emails either....I hope all is well with them?!?!?!

I called regularly on and off for three days. I tried faxing a "request to be called" 2 times....once sucsessfully, and I e-mailed two times. I never heard back. On the fourth day I gave up.

Beat me to it!We all have to understand the pains of being a small business owner.Alot of these vendors do it on the side.Unfortunately they don`t get enough business to support themselves full-time.Most make up with superior customer service in all other aspects.

I believe GMCPauls is in the process of moving to there new location. Outstanding people to deal with. Recently stopped in to there old place and will make it a point to do business there in the future. Bill Athey is also a standup guy. You cant go wrong at either vendor!

Looks to be a great reproduction. Fit well and and went on with no problems.
I was lucky, my springs and seat foam were in great shape. I did do a little mod. to the seat bracket so it would sit back 2 more inches and lean back a bit also while using all the factory holes in the floor and seat.. When I do the middle seat I am going to move it back also to allow for more leg room there.

Thanks ATHEYS !!!!!!!!!
