Has anyone used Devilbiss Finish Line guns. What did you think? Looking to buy to learn to paint with before spending the big bucks.
Thanks Brian

I have never used the gun you mentioned, but the best advice I can give you is simple. Don't handicap yourself with a junker. I'm not saying that you need the best thing on the market, but don't go bottom of the line either.

biggest thing with buying your first spray gun is knowing your air// match the guns required amt of air to your compressors output of air

i would buy an Astro or ATD copy of a real gun before i bought a finishline, finex, or cobalt. Astro just came out with a copy of a Iwata lph400 that is like $120 and works great. cheap guns are still time bombs though, they usually break right when you need to paint something at 2 in the morning on a weekend.

I bought the finishline II a couple of years ago and I love it. I am not a painter by trade but It is very easy to use and with proper prep you I can get very good results.
