Rokcrln 04-06-2006, 07:13 PM Nice job! That really looks great. Kevin LFD Inc. LUV2XCLR8 04-06-2006, 07:48 PM :bling: And it has the seat heater option :phat: Medicanman71 04-06-2006, 09:39 PM Outstanding!! What are the switches in your console? Looks clean! Also, what kinda tires are those? (seen them before, just dont remember, they look good too!) Is it your DD, why the engine conversion? it all looks good! Canadian694x4 04-06-2006, 11:32 PM Looks Great! I was also wondering what kinda tires those were... red71cheyenne 04-06-2006, 11:36 PM Very nice! Love that blue interior! vtblazer 04-07-2006, 06:49 AM it's coming along. Very nicely from the looks. :cong: How was the body 'pre' paint? tpi72blazer 04-07-2006, 08:21 AM Thanks everybody. Luv is correct - the switches in the console are seat heaters. The tires are 31x 10.50 unidirectional Yokohama geolanders. Eventually I'd like to run a 2" lift with 33 x 10.50 BFG Mud T/A's. tpi72blazer 04-07-2006, 08:46 AM How was the body 'pre' paint?[/QUOTE] Here is the link to the "before" pics I posted after I first got it. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?t=120034 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?t=120032 Burt4x4 04-07-2006, 10:41 AM Damn! That looks nice! I like the color, but my fav is the drk green :) Congrats on the fine job! Jason915 04-07-2006, 11:05 AM Nice Blazer, I love the TPI conversion did you use an aftermarket wiring harness? How's the power and MPG with it? tpi72blazer 04-07-2006, 12:17 PM Nice Blazer, I love the TPI conversion did you use an aftermarket wiring harness? How's the power and MPG with it? I did use an aftermarket harness. Because I have my ECM mounted in the engine compartment, I had to use waterproof connections. The increase in low end torque is drastic. I am still running the TH350 trans and 3.73 gears and my mileage is around 13 mpg. Eventually I would like to swap in a 4 speed automatic and be able to get around 15-17 mpg. krue 04-08-2006, 09:09 AM Very nice truck! I like the color.:metal: blazerparts 04-10-2006, 10:31 AM very nice! Yukon Jack 04-10-2006, 12:18 PM Looks sweet. My Blazer is jealous! FRENCHBLUE72 04-10-2006, 08:27 PM Congrats that is a very nice ride.. IGOR 04-11-2006, 01:56 AM Very nice - I love the color! tpi72blazer 04-11-2006, 01:39 PM Very nice - I love the color! When I got ready for final paint, I had the factory color cross referenced by PPG. I did shoot the paint in basecoat- clear instead of a factory single stage paint. MikeS 04-11-2006, 04:40 PM Hey! We're twins!! Beautiful truck! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v666/mfs3k/Blazer/Topless.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v666/mfs3k/Blazer/TPI/TPI-2.jpg tpi72blazer 04-26-2006, 08:37 AM Nice Blazer MikeS! I assume you are running a mass air flow setup on your TPI? Out of curiosity, where did you find the air cleaner elbow to route the cleaner at that angle? I looked for quite a while for one before I converted my system to speed density. Swbman 04-26-2006, 10:03 AM YOu gotta just luv blue on blue..way to go...:) mike nutt 04-26-2006, 12:24 PM looking good MikeS 04-26-2006, 08:27 PM Nice Blazer MikeS! I assume you are running a mass air flow setup on your TPI? Out of curiosity, where did you find the air cleaner elbow to route the cleaner at that angle? I looked for quite a while for one before I converted my system to speed density. Thanks for the compliment. It's a Trick Flow LT-1 elbow (ceramic coated). I got it from Summit (TFS-3150800). The only problem is that there is a sensor grommet in it that needed to be plugged up. No big deal. I've got an old chrome bumper bolt stuffed in it now...one of these days I need to figure out something better. Big J 05-01-2006, 08:05 PM Looks awesome! The geolanders look sweet on there too. Jason915 05-02-2006, 02:39 PM Hey MikeS what is your TPI engine build? Is it a stock L98? Cam, heads? The reason I ask it becasue my TBI engine build is 083 (TPI) heads and I will be picking a cam soon. Thanks MikeS 05-02-2006, 03:16 PM Hey MikeS what is your TPI engine build? Is it a stock L98? Cam, heads? The reason I ask it becasue my TBI engine build is 083 (TPI) heads and I will be picking a cam soon. Thanks Jason, It isn't anything too elaborate. 60-over 350 block, World Products SR heads, roller-tipped rocker arms, Edelbrock Performer cam, headers. I didn't build it with the TPI in mind. Orginally it had an Edelbrock carb and intake. All I did was swap out the carb for the TPI. This is one of the reasons I chose to go the MAF route, it's a little more forgiving to changes than the MAP system. I've also had the chip tweaked a little but I'm still not completely happy with it. Mike Jason915 05-02-2006, 05:25 PM Ok good to know, good luck with your tuning hope you get it all tuned just like you need it. |
