Have you guys used POR15 on aluminum? How did it work for you?

I coated a new intake that had been sanded, scuffed, degreased (supplied in their 'kit'), & then wiped down w/a wax/grease remover. It peeled (it looks like a black garbage bag when it peels off BTW).

Obviously there wasn't enough bite. What did you do to make it work?

POR makes a clear thats designed to be used on aluminum and chrome. Its called "GLISTEN". I've never used it but heard of it a year or so ago.

I only used the POR15 because it's supposed to help adhesion.

I don't plan on leaving the intake the raw alum color. I want it to match the rest of the motor.
