hey guys,has anyone tryed those slip-over cab support braces from LMC truck parts on a 1972 chevy truck? My left front support is not that bad,just a small rust hole about the size of a .50 cent piece.If so, how hard was it to do? I really don;t think the old cab support needs replacing and the slip-over kind look easy enough to install.:confused:

I think I would patch it instead of cover it. I've had trucks where the previous owner had covered a rusted out rocker panel with a new one, doesn't take long for the new one to rust out if you do this...

Best bet is clean it up, cut out old rust, weld in a patch and coat it all with a good rust preventative.

I Agree, We Only Cut Out The Minimum Needed To Make The Repair.
