Having two actively running at the same time will creat lots of problems. My $.02, ditch the Norton and keep the AVG. You have definitely been hit by some spam/adware also From the looks of it your hit with some trojans mirar, and netnuecleus. Definitely not the nicest ones to have on board. I have not had much experience in removing them sucessfully, so hopefully shifty has something for you there. Just at a quick glance in research they appear to be a pain to get rid of. shifty 04-11-2006, 10:28 AM First, please do yourself a favor and me a favor - read this post: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?t=195287 It's a lot of information but you **badly** need to understand a the info in that post. Or you're going to seriously hurt yourself somehow and very soon. Bill is right, you're pretty heavily infected. Holy crap, you are seriously infected. Wow, you are doing something seriously wrong while surfing. You either have really bad web surfing habits (e.g. visiting really shady websites or porn), you are not updating your Windows regularly, or you're just downloading any old free software you can on the web. All of these items in your logfile are bad, very bad, some are not so bad. You can put a checkmark next to them and click "FIX" after you close all open programs, then reboot, but a lot are going to come back after reboot: R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page = \blank.htm F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe, C:\WINDOWS\system32\chweq.exe F2 - REG:system.ini: UserInit=C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe,ndeibgq.exe O2 - BHO: web compressor - {23FB5ADD-DA37-4a40-9FC0-B0E2384CDE92} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\nsq85A.dll O2 - BHO: wb - {55BE9F0D-6CAF-4c3e-B125-5A13A8C9D0EC} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\nsr9.dll O2 - BHO: RieMon Class - {70F6A776-579A-4C95-BA88-134253907752} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\irsmurmp.dll O2 - BHO: (no name) - {FDD3B846-8D59-4ffb-8758-209B6AD74ACC} - (no file) O3 - Toolbar: ZeroBar - {F5735C15-1FB2-41FE-BA12-242757E69DDE} - C:\Program Files\NetZero\toolbar.dll (file missing) O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [QuickTime Task] "C:\Program Files\QuickTime\qttask.exe" -atboottime O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TkBellExe] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe" -osboot O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [BrowserUpdateSched] C:\WINDOWS\system32\qwinqraf.exe FI002 O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [w4d45545.dll] RUNDLL32.EXE w4d45545.dll,I2 00043e9904d45545 O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [WinFixer2006] "C:\Program Files\WinFixer_2006\uwfx6.exe" /min O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [irssyncd] C:\WINDOWS\system32\irssyncd.exe O4 - Startup: Zeno.lnk = C:\WINDOWS\system32\qwinqraf.exe O4 - Global Startup: Microsoft Office.lnk = C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\OSA9.EXE O15 - Trusted Zone: *.elitemediagroup.net O15 - Trusted Zone: http://click.getmirar.com (HKLM) O15 - Trusted Zone: http://click.mirarsearch.com (HKLM) O15 - Trusted Zone: http://redirect.mirarsearch.com (HKLM) O15 - Trusted Zone: http://awbeta.net-nucleus.com (HKLM) O16 - DPF: {8A0DCBDB-6E20-489C-9041-C1E8A0352E75} (Mirar_Dummy_ATS1 Class) - http://awbeta.net-nucleus.com/FIX/WinATS.cab O16 - DPF: {8FCDF9D9-A28B-480F-8C3D-581F119A8AB8} (MediaGatewayX) - http://static.zangocash.com/cab/Zango/ie/bridge-c18.cab O16 - DPF: {9522B3FB-7A2B-4646-8AF6-36E7F593073C} (cpbrkpie Control) - http://a19.g.akamai.net/7/19/7125/40...02/Coupons.cab O16 - DPF: {9AC54695-69A4-46F1-BE10-10C74F9520D5} (elitectl.DemoCtl) - http://cabs.elitemediagroup.net/cabs/mediaview.cab O16 - DPF: {F919FBD3-A96B-4679-AF26-F551439BB5FD} - http://locator1.cdn.imagesrvr.com/si...reeInstall.cab Go ahead and "fix" those lines. Afterwards, reboot, come back in here and post another log and we'll clean up the leftovers. shifty 04-11-2006, 10:31 AM PS - when I say you are "seriously" infected, I'm not playing around. You had at least one "keylogger" on your system which basically has been logging every single key you press on your computer so someone else could look at your keypresses, get your passwords and personal information and use it to hack your bank accounts, get into your files and other stuff. Once you get cleaned up, you need to change every password for every online account you have accessed while using this computer. This can be cleaned up. Cleanup isn't going to do any good if you don't change your surfing habits and install some protection though. shifty 04-11-2006, 10:33 AM Yes - I answered your other post already. You are seriously infected with some nasty stuff. Someone is logging your keystrokes right now and you probably have backdoor access to your computer open right now also so that other people can get into your system. Please review the information in the other post you made in the Computer Help forum. redneckdds 04-11-2006, 11:25 AM ok... thanks, we will try that stuff when we get home shifty 04-11-2006, 03:37 PM Just in case I'm not around tonight, you also have WinFixer on your system. There are two things you can download to fix this, but I'm going to suggest this for after you "fix" the lines above in HijackThis: Download L2mfix from one of these two locations: http://www.atribune.org/downloads/l2mfix.exe http://www.downloads.subratam.org/l2mfix.exe Save the file to your desktop and double click l2mfix.exe. Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop. Double-click l2mfix.bat and select option #1 for Run Find Log by typing 1 and then pressing enter. This will scan your computer and it may appear nothing is happening, then, after a minute or 2, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it into this thread. Once you've done that, Double-click l2mfix.bat and select option #2 to clean and reboot. LONGHAIR 04-11-2006, 06:34 PM I merged these threads.................please don't start another one. Keep everything in the same place. It is far easier to keep track of things that way. redneckdds 04-12-2006, 01:33 AM L2MFIX find log 032106 These are the registry keys present Now, you need to take some followup actions: Like Bill said, you have two antivirus programs installed. This is BAD. You need to pick an antivirus program and stick with it - either Norton Antivirus or AVG (or one from the "free tools" thread: LINK (http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?t=195287)) - take your pick...uninstall the other one, reboot and move along. Next, you need to turn OFF System Restore, then turn it back ON again. This will flush any remnants of files that Windows XP has saved from this recent infection. Instructions on how to do this are here: 1. Click Start. 2. Go into the Control Panel (Settings) and double-click the "System" icon. 3. Click the System Restore tab. 4. Check "Turn off System Restore" or "Turn off System Restore on all drives" as shown in this illustration: 5. Click Apply. 6. When turning off System Restore, the existing restore points will be deleted. Click Yes to do this. 7. Now, uncheck "Turn off System Restore" or "Turn off System Restore on all drives." 8. Click Apply, and then click OK. Last, I will suggest that you install some additional active spyware protection on your system. There are several free programs in the "Free tools" thread (LINK (http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?t=195287)). Good luck, if you have any other problems, let me know. |
