Some of you might think I am srewing up. But I have been thinkin about takin a 1970 3 door Suburban and making it into a 4 door pickup. I was just wondering if any of you tried this. Or has Pictures. I have seen a few extended cabs, but not any 4 doors. Thanks !!

Jasper if you consider your self a good body man you can do it. Just plan it all out before hand. I have built a few 67-72 chevys but none have been 4 door trucks. But I would do one. Or help you if you were here. If you want to try a hard one go for a early model, then your know your a bodyman if you get it finished. The reason I say there harder is because 67s and later are straight trucks. Look at a early model. Like I have one in my shop that I did. Its not a chevy ( sory). Its a 1952 Mercury full size 4- door pickup. With a 6 ft bed. Yep its long. like 24 ft. Whats hard about the early models,is that the cabs are not straight. The front of the cabs are not as wide as the back. It took a lot of work plus 3 cabs to build it. But its done and cool. If you build on correct you will like it,and it will get lots of looks. I have had die hard Chevy guys, even stop by to see it. And think its cool. If your ever in Texas look us up. Be happy to visit with you. And show you my shop. I am not a business but I do a few trucks. Got a question ask. Goodluck !
