I know my way around a 67/72 chevy or GMC as good as the next guy, but I have a 88 gmc and a 92 silverado and I need help swapping something out.
OK here it is, I want to swap the interior lites out,one has push button dual lites and one is just a off or on lite.
How do you go about swapping them with out breaking something or making a mess.

It sounds like you are referring to the dome light. If so try the one with the dual switches first. Use a small putty knife (scrapper) and slide it in along side one of the long sides on the center white lens, and gently push the top edge toward the center of the lamp while gently pulling it down. The lens should fall out. You should find two Phillips screws behind it. The single switch light should use about the same method but I can't picture it in my mind.
