hello, from texas. new to this web page, let me introduce myself, Im 31, I just like classic trucks. I currently have a 1971 short bed, low wheel base bed chevy pickup. I need to upgrade the engine and transmission, currently has all original 6cyl. straight engine, with the original stick shift manual 4 gear transmission. :metal:

there is nothing wrong with the original 6cyl.engine and a 4 speed.i would upgrade to power steering and power brakes if you don't already have them.

IT HAS POWER STEERING AND POWER BRAKES ALREADY, IT'S JUST THAT THE BED LOOKS TOO LOW, WELL THE FENDER LIKE IF IT'S ALWAYS LOADED AND LOOKS DROPPED. I'LL POST A PICTURE
