Hey all I put a Mallory ignition box(Hyfire 6A)into a 73 Blazer with a 350. After finding a space with enough juice from the fuse block, I got the thing working. Well it worked for about a week, then out of nowhere it just stopped working. There was a small amount of smoke coming from the little hole in front. Well later that nite I tried it again, the little lite came on but it still would not start. Well needless to say I hooked it back up the old way, so now it is hard as hell to start. Any ideas as to what happened? The ignition is electronic.
