I can't load any music from cd to itunes. When I put the cd in the drive it does not show up in the source box.
I tried uninstalling and re installing itunes
I also tried

Choose Edit > Preferences, then click the Advanced tab and click Importing. If the "Use error correction when reading Audio CDs" checkbox is not selected, select it. If it's already selected, deselect it.

and when I run the diagnostic on the drive I get this message

D: LITE-ON CD-RW SOHR-5238S, Rev 4S03
Failed trying to read media, error 263.

F: TEAC CD-532E-B, Rev 1.0A
Failed trying to read media, error 263.

I also tried updating the drivers for the drives

My computer reads the drives but when I try to play them from the drive it opens Itunes and then quits

Any suggestions?

Or should I crack this thing open and unplug a drive and see if it changes anything?

everything was fine till I upgraded to version 6.0.4.2

I use mine a lot more than I thought I would. Working out, mowing, driving, even got it wired into my head unit in the burb now. They are very versatile.

I don't work out :( Walk too much at work
Not aloud to use it at work. Or at least get caught.

I wouldn't use it while driving at least not headphones.

hooking it up to the headunit is a good idea but I current live only 5 min max from work. I minght have a longer commute soon.

It's on the list of those things I want but dont really know why. Also the price tags are a little rich for me :(

Well, that eliminates most of my reasons for having one. If ya have a nagging wife I hear they are quite useful too
