Does anyone in NEPA have a tow dolly I could borrow for a day or 2? I have to tow my van home to the Philly area because my trans is on its last leg and the motor is missing on a few cylinders. I would be willing to pay for it....U-haul is being an a$$ to me and I can't seem to get one right now. There is no rush on it now, I will most likely need it in mid to late May. I figured I'd try to figure something out now though.

Thanks,
Mike

with u haul you have to tell them what they want to hear. i am not telling you to lie to them about what you are hauling and what you are using to haul it; i am just suggesting stretching the truth alot. it will work out. just tell them what they want to hear.:metal:

Hey there 87 Blazer! I'm right up the road in Albrightsville. Anyway, I always tell them I'm towing my 86 Escort. If I happen to pick up another vehicle while the dolly is in my possession, well than that's on me. I know U-Haul can be a pain, but they just have to cover their butts in case of an accident, cause people can do really stupid things. If things really fall through, I make the trip from up here in the poconos to West Chester all week, and I could get access to a truck and decent car trailer. Just hook me up with gas money, tolls, and maybe lunch. I'm a cheap date. Good luck!!

Cheap date, and gas money don't belong in the same sentence anymore. ;)

:haha: No they don't. I would have no problem with gas, tolls, and lunch. I hate lying to U-hual because well I suck at it. I friend offered me pick up my van with a heavy equipment trailer and dump truck  That would look real good!! I just graduated so now I'm search of a real job or trying to find something to do. I started the van yesterday and I think it sounds like a big block idleing...it's definitely missing on a cylinder or two  Oh well, Defiant I will have to contact you if my dump truck fall through.

Thanks everyone,
Mike
