Help! How many bolts are holding the original 1959 Chevy 3100 transmission to the bell housing? We found two upper bolts where you put the guilding bolts at, but we still can't detach the tranny from the bell housing. Any info will be appreciated.
Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. We are disassembling my '59, and we just need to take the engine and tranny out to take our frame to the sandblasters.
Thanks,

Thanks for the info. We finally realize that there were two bolt inside the bell housing except that our '59 truck had only one bolt inside. We were puzzled about that bolt when we were able to take the engine off our frame. :dohh: We were wondering if it was bolted the right way. Thanks again for the info.
