Is there a way to resize them when they are an attachment? shifty 04-27-2006, 10:24 PM not really. if you open them with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer (XP users only) it should auto-resize to some degree. Slonaker 04-28-2006, 09:11 AM I open photos with Internet Explorer. It works quickly, and has auto-resized photos for viewing for the last several years. If you then want to see them full size, you hover your mouse over the lower right corner of the photo, and click the icon that comes up. Just associate JPG files with IE, and that will take care of most of the files you will view. Slonaker shifty 04-28-2006, 09:55 AM important tidbit: "how do i do that?" quick and easy way to associate files to IE is like this: find a picture file anywhere on your computer. with the right-hand mouse button right-click the picture file and choose the highlighted options below in the first picture. next, setup your window like in the second picture and make sure you put a checkmark in the box to "always open using this program". any time you want to switch back, you can (in case you find it annoying) just repeat the process, but choose a different program. |
