I just took this pic and need to find out what part this is ? the part mounts the lower portion of the front fenders to the front of the cab --- tony------ I can't get the pics form cardomain is the part called Lower hinge bracket ? need help so I can order it ...

Sounds like the fender brace.

If its part of the cab I think you are looking for an outer lower pillar pocket. It has a bolt hole for the hinge. There is an inner and an outer.

If its part of the fender its the fender brace there is a left or right on bot parts

I think that you are right . I look at www.lmctruck .com and found that it the hinge pillar repair panel.... www.ccgtrucks.com calls it lower outer pillar section
and www.grumpystruckparts.com calls it front hinge pillar repair

I just realized that there is a fender re-inforcement bracket that the bolt goes thru into the fender brace to secure the lower fender to the cab. That is a part that you may have to make. I haven't seem them anywhere. It welds to the bottom of the lower outer pillar pocket.

you know I think that you are right the fender does have a bolt on the bottom and it bolts to the lower pillar It is going to sux if I have to make it just might have to cut the left side off in order to make the right .. Hey if I make this part does anybody need one ? might as well make like 5 of each side :lol:

I need 2. It supprises me that no one makes these. If you have a rotted pillar pocket usually the bracket is gone as well.

LMC shows a pillar repair piece that looks like it has the ear for the fender bolt. #4 at top of page.

were looking for 55 - 59. thats for 67 - 72
