But I want one, for hauling things. I have a chance to buy one pretty cheap and was hoping someone here could help me decide if it's a good deal. Also, I won't be working on it myself or making it a show truck, so can I still ask questions here or is this board strictly for people who will be doing their own work? Either way it goes, thanks!
Welcome to the board from South Mississippi! Truck ownership is not required. This is a board for people that love GM trucks. From rusted out mismatched POS's to show winners we like 'em all.:D

Thanks for the welcome. Should have said don't own a truck YET. The one I'm considering is an '86 Scottsdale. Which forum should I go to to ask my questions?
you can post your questions in the 73-87 message area http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/forumdisplay.php?f=4

Welcome to the board from West Tennessee. You don't have to own a truck to hang out here. You don't have to make your truck pretty to hang out here. But you hang out here very long and it'll rub off on you. Good luck with finding the truck you need to getter done.
