i was on my way home from the store tonight and i noticed that when i turned on my left blinker, my headlights, instrument gauge, and tach would pulse. what might cause this? could it be the fuse?

I had the same type of problem with my lights on my 86. found out it was some bare wires touching inside the column. Really was a B$%ch to fix.

check for loose or missing ground wires before you start pulling things apart. If things aren't grounded right they will find one, anywhere they can

i also noticed that the blinkers had an erratic pattern to it. i changed the blinker fuse and all seems to be well. thanks for the suggestions guys.
