These pictures aren't at the show so I thought I should put them in a separate post. We spotted a great spot to shoot a couple shots on the way over to Cherokee. Well when we came back through the photographer from one of the magazines had about six trucks lined up for photo shoots in the same spot. We killed some time and came back a couple hours later (they were still there). Anyhow by the time the spot cleared out we were running out of daylight but I did the best I could with what was there.

I know it was a mile or two over the legal limit. My wife shot the photo while I was focused on my safe driving practices!

I didn't know the needle would actually go that far. I turned my cluster on it's head cleaning it and it still only goes to 65!!!!!

Awesome photos....ESPECIALLY the '67 in front of the Ghost Town building...the headlights are the perfect touch!!

I run 100 in mine all the time. It's only for a very short while because with a 3.73 gear and TH350 tranny, I'm tachin 4800 so I have to back off.

When I had 3.07's in it before, it would cruise at 100 and still ride smooth and was very stable at higher speeds.

Asa, cool pics. Looks like ya'll had a fun trip home.

The wheels on the 67 are Boyd Coddington smoothies. http://www.newstalgiawheel.com/listproducts.asp?cat=10124
He is running a 17x8 on all four corners. He has been mumbling that he should have just went ahead and put Torque Thrust II on it, but these are paid for. He is also wanting to go for a wider back tire like I am running on my C/10. It's a nice truck that has been in his family since 67. I would be happy to own it myself.:) We also enjoyed meeting everyone and are looking forward to doing it again.

Lol, that's funny, I love the TTII's, but there are SO many around these days! I'm with you though, I do like them a little wider than that on the back.

see ten...these pics came out awesome. By being late in the day you avoided the shadows and captured more detail than you would have in any kind of sun situation .. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL.....

Awesome trucks! I am in the process of restoring a 67 SWB stepside that belonged to my wife's grandfather. The truck has been in my garage since last summer... Hope to make some good progress on it this summer. ECE 4/6 and 5 lug conversion arrive Monday :metal: Just waiting on the UPS man

I would love to see some before and after pictures of the 67 !! Actually just printed a picture of the 67 and am going to put it in my garage for inspiration...

I'm impressed. Looks like your wife was way over there. Why from the looks of things, the camera was left of the steering column. You are a skilled driver!:hm:  :c2:
