Ok Dumb question coming up I am trying to remove my ignition switch and for some reason it seems not to unscrew I have gotten the face part to unscrew but it won't come all the way off what am I doing wrong thank you all for your help I know it has to be something simple I am overlooking thank you for you time.

you have to remove the cylinder first // with key in ign, theres a pinhole that you jam a paperclip into turn key counter clockwize and pull out cylinder

Thanks worked like a charm as soon as I got my cylinder to turn I had forgotten it was really a pain to trun. I guess not driving it for a year you forget the little quwirks.

Don't feel bad. I know how to do it but every time i have to remove one i forget. You don't do it often

easy to forget, just like remembering how to remove the headlight knob....
