Blowing cool air. Swapped out Air Control panel, everything seems to work ok.

Temperature lever works, but still not happy with how the lever sits. Any ideas???

Sorry Jake..... Ancient Factory SYstem, realized it was charged. Bought a used AC controller, old one was toast. Rippped out all old duct work, S Duct, Selector Plenum. Ran new Vacuum Lines. Found cut compressor wire, it would go live when everything was turned on. Spliced in compressor, I have air. Of course, many repairs/replacemet of duct work are needed. $150 is gonna fix it I hope.

I spent some money getting my AC fixed. New comprossor, condensor, and five 12 oz. cans of R-12 at $50 a can. I know, I could have converted over to R-134, but I'm a purest. This AC is the best I have ever had. Then I took the top off 6 months later and was wondering why I bothered fixing the AC. However, I do use it on occassion. I feel like a piece of bacon without it when sitting in traffic.

The AC is nice to have; top on or top off.

Since were talking A/C.

My rig was a factory A/c rig, however theres nothing left except the vents. what the cheapest way to get A/C back again. The original parts are way over priced, and usually its the brackets that are hard to get hold of. Would the A/c from a post 72 chevy rig go in fairly ez? I see them in the wrecking yard all the time.

There was a set on Craigslist a while back for a 72 Blazer - I also saw a set at the swap meet - for $200 - complete setup...

I'll keep my eyes open

Not sure if later model stuff would work or not?
