We're going to grill burgers, hot dogs, and brats, at the home of Ron 586. We ask that guest bring a dish to pass or chips. I will have non alcoholic drinks on ice. Coolers of your favorite brew is welcome. This event is open to all members and family/guests of CGITC, MOT, and 67-72chevytruck. Start time is when you get here, end is when you leave. Drive your ride if you want or whatever will get you here. The event will be as special as you make it. Will post map and directions soon. pm me on any of the above boards with any questions.

Just over a month to go and I only have I board member coming that has answered in this thread so far and 3 or 4 that I ran into at a truck show that said they would try. I have about 20 local guys invited to recruit for CGITC so I'm hoping for a good showing from the boards. I understand long range planning and how it can go astray. So if you haven't made plans to be here please try to now, and if it don't work out, well you tried. Remember this is open to all members/family/guests of 67-72, MOT, and CGITC. Hope to see you here.

We need to start a list of parts or other stuff that people may want brought to each other.

Mostly, because I have some stuff to sell, need to buy some stock front springs, and I have to bring Luv's sway bar to him.

Hey guys, this is a come as you are, come as you was, or come as you want to be. I have 16 1/2 acres to park stuff on and a tractor with a front end loader and another with a boom pole and a C/picker engine hoist. So pretty much anything you can haul we can move around if need be. If enough stuff shows up we can set up an area for just swap stuff. The only thing for sure about this whole thing is I'm going to fire the grills around noon and cook until everybody gets all they want to eat. Come as early as you want and leave when you want. We just want everyone to have a good time. I will have directions posted by midweek so you can start plotting your course. Drive whatever will get you here and don't worry what brand it is just show up.

well, I think Luv should drive GQ up so I can ride in it. I know he's gone for a week so I can make that comment, for now.

I would like someone to bring so I can buy or trade for a set of stock front coil springs.

Ron 586
07-09-2006, 11:47 AM
We can arrange an enclosed ride up for GQ if there is enough want to say good bye interest expressed. and a ride home to. If no body has a set of springs out or if you need them sooner I have a set under the blue truck that's in my avatar pic. I can hardly wait for the 22ed to get here. Catch you later.

I would also like to buy a 4 core radiator from someone if they have one they can bring. I have some stuff to sell/trade, but I'm sure nobody will need my stuff. :)

We're planning to be there. Let me know if there's anything you need me to bring.
Bryan, we had appointments for CT's, X-rays and an office visit this week, so I never made it to the junkyard. I will go either Monday or Tuesday to search for a radiator.
Lookin' forward to seein' y'all.

I had planned to have a neat little map for directions but I can't make it happen. So I'll do the best I can. Coming from the north get on 641 south coming out of Paris, Tennessee and going toward Camden, Tn. You will go 10-12 miles and leave Henry county and enter Benton county when you cross the Big Sandy river. About a mile after that you will see a sign for the Rockman Store at a little country store on your right. Turn LEFT on lower Big Sandy road at the store and follow it 3-4 miles you will come around a slight curve to the right and drop off a small hill and cross a narrow bridge leading to a long straight away. When you get to the top of the next hill turn RIGHT on Tom White Rd. 1/2 mile up the road on your left is 586 Tom White Rd, There is a 911 sign at the end of the driveway as well as a street sign with OMS WAY HOME on it.
If you are coming from the south get on 641 north going toward Paris Tn. When you come through Camden Tn. come on about 6-7 miles and watch for a sign Rockman Store on your left. Turn RIGHT on Lower Big Sandy Rd. and follow directions above to my home. If this is not clear or you get lost call me.

I had Robb's gas paid, but he never answered me back, a local guy
needed a cowl hood from Tim, would have paid him gas to deliver it.

Truckguy is going pretty close to you Brandon. You could catch a ride if it's gas money that's troubling you.

I want a good turnout for my first attempt at a cookout. But I don't want anyone to put themselves in a bind because of money or time it takes to get here or any other reason. It is going to be hot this weekend and if need be we'll move it inside where it's cool. I'll have a 42" Heat Buster fan out on the carport where the cooking will be going on. This is all about fun, food, and fellowship so you all come.

Just spoke with Bryan a little while ago. He called to confirm whether or not we were gonna show. Yes, we are and looking forward to it. I had hoped to escape the heat we're having down here (100's since last Saturday) but it seems to be everywhere. Chicago had 98* yesterday. Come to think of it, that might feel like a cold front.
See y'all Saturday.
