I think there might have been water in my gas(on my '89 sub). I pulled the tank and siphoned out as much as possible, but a little remained in the tank. Can I just add fresh gas or should I take it somewhere and get it flushed before putting it back together? Thanks very much for any comments or what the procedure is.

If the tank is clean inside and you got the majority of the suspect fuel out of the tank you can just add new fuel and a fuel dryer like heet in the recommended amount and drive. Most times the fuel dyer can be added without draining the tank unless there is an unusually large amount of water. Hope this helps.

You can use some STA-BIL fuel stabilizer to remove any left over water to be safe. Should be able to pick it up at you local parts store.
