The shocks that I had bought for my 82 came with the mounts. Outside of that, I have no clue.

I had one go on my 1988, 1500. I went to the GM dealer and they had to special order it. It was something like $85 just for the part, and like $230 installed ( including part). They ground the old rivets out, and bolted the new one in. I actually drove it around for quite a while till I found out it happened because the spot weld on the cover of the shock broke, and it ringed like a bell every time you hit a bump. I couldn't figure out what the hell that noise was till I worked on the rear breaks one day and noticed it. The shock got wedged up in between the frame and cross member but it still worked. I put the same shock back on and it started leaking oil a couple weeks later so don't bother doing that. So save yourself some trouble and buy some new shocks.
