Is anyone in the Ontario, Ca. area available to help me finish the top end of 72 350? Its primarily hooking up the distributor, carb., trans kickdown, things of that nature. I'm a little lost, I'm so close to having it done. The main reason for my desparate plea is, my dad will be in town, next week, and it would really be cool to pick him up in the 72. Thank you.

Perhaps there was an ultimate reason the views were higher than the actual responses ;). My Dad actually helped me get the heavy stuff finished.

However, there are a few things I don't have finished. Like the throttle cable hook up, that has a bracket with no where I can see to mount, and also the trans kickdown on the carb. I'm using an HEI distributor, and managed to get the motor to shoot a 3 foot flame out of the carb! So timing is an issue, and for now its basically those things that I'm lost on. These things are probably minutes for someone a little more seasoned than myself, but hours for me.

Any suggestions?!.

Try asking on the engine and drivetrain board (or the 67-72 message board).
