I'm thinking about bagging my blazer, but I didn't know if it was necessary to install a c-notch on the blazer. I heard of the bolt on c-notch's, but do I still need to cut my frame??? Wouldn't that weaken it???

I have the Early Classic Enterprises Bags on the rear of mine, and I love them. I have about a 6-4 drop with no c-notch. There is no way I would c-notch my frame, these 2wds are too rare to cut IMHO. If you want to drag the body, then you are going to have to cut the truck up (a shame).

:agree: They sit low enough w/ out a notch, now if your frame is NOT
perfect, well ......................................................... C-notch it ;)

Here is a link to a 2wd blazer that got the full frame treatment.
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?t=194823 It shows what is needed to a C-notch. To answer your question if you install the kit right it is plenty stronge. Yes they are rare and yes it might be a shame to cut one at all but it is your ride and it will still hold its value (maybe more) if it is customized corectly. I have the rariest of all a 70 2wd and it is in line for the knife right now! Do what you want to do but do it right and do it safe. For the Keep it stock guys remember a C-notch can always be reversed by a good Fabricator and you would never know it!

^^^^^:agree: I have done C notches and also put small sections of frame in to eliminate them when guys have converted to 4wd or gone back to stock and short of a monster step or back half they are fairly easy to return to stock configuration.

This is my truck layed out (axle on the frame) and this is were I wanted it for ride height. So in order to get this is required a notch.

Drive way shot is stock frame w/ bags.
Lawn shot is notched and 3" drop spindles w/ bags.

Not yet. Called them up yesterday and they said another week. I'll post pictures once I get them and my progression of the interior.

What wheels did you decide on?

20X8 torque thrust II's. They said it's going to take a while because they have to be custom made. If I purchased 18" or smaller...I would have gotten them in 2 weeks.

Who'd you order them through? Direct, or through a dealer? Been thinking about those for myself. Thanks.
