I didn't want to highjack the dell vs. Hp thread, but how do I remove the HP software clutter from my HP pavillion desktop without messing up everything else? The HP orginizer and the Hp updates just seem to waste time and space for me.

Go intoi control panel add/remove programs. Then select the ones you don't use and uninstall them. If they are not listed in the add/remove prgorams, then you can normally just delete the folder that has the program in it.

If you manually want to remove them using HijackThis (like, if anything sticks around after using the control panel method above), post a logfile and I'll give some suggestions as best as I can.
