How many ground straps should I have on my 1969 Blazer. When I took it apart it seems like there was:

1. One inside engine compartment from fender to ?
2. One from frame to body on one side.
3. One from frame to body in rear.

Is that all there is? Do I need more? Help would be appreciated, I'm lucky to operate a flashlight.

I seem to recall one from each valve cover to the firewall?

I checked GMC Paul's website and he has a ground strap kit. His description says :

This set has a complete set of straps and hardware for one truck. Set includes (3) short straps and (2) long straps&necessary bolts. Original equipment on all 67-72 trucks and help to properly ground the engine, body and chassis.

What exactly do multiple ground straps do? Why more than just one?
